I spent a couple of days up in the Point Reyes area recently and found the time to add these into my traveling sketchbook.

The watercolors are a relaxing exercise and hopefully some of this translate into the result. The top one was also an exercise in trying to ignore two or three dozens of pesky flies.

Oui, a l'echelle de ces petites esquisses, l'aquarelle est bien adapte au travail sur le vif avec un minimum d'equipement. Un vrai petit plaisir sans trop d'efforts logistiques.

These watercolors are great Luc! the "birds eye view." I can almost feel myself soaring over the canopy of trees into the distance. Hope you get the chance to do more of these.
